What is Windrose? ​

Windrose is a cooperative PvE survival and pirate adventure game developed by FRVR. Players set sail together with their ships, explore a vast maritime world filled with islands, fight hostile fleets and hunt for treasure. The game has been available in Early Access on Steam since April 2026.

In Windrose, everything revolves around seafaring, discovery and cooperation. Players can outfit their ships, board other vessels, collect loot and build their own bases on islands. The game supports both solo play and co-op with up to four or more players on player-hosted or dedicated servers.

The game world features dynamic naval battles, exploration of uncharted waters and a wide variety of ship customizations. The co-op system allows players to share tasks, complete quests together and overcome the challenges of the sea as a team. PvP elements are currently not included – the focus is purely on PvE.

Windrose is especially popular with players looking for a relaxed co-op pirate experience combining survival elements, exploration and naval combat. The game is available on PC via Steam.
