What is V Rising? ​

V Rising is an isometric open-world survival game with a vampire theme, developed by Stunlock Studios. Players take on the role of a weakened vampire who awakens after centuries of slumber and must gradually reclaim their power by hunting, drinking blood and holding their own against humans, beasts and other vampires.

At the core of V Rising are bloodlust, castle expansion and tactical combat. Players build their own castle, equip it with production facilities, servants and defenses, and protect it from the sun as well as enemy raids. By defeating powerful V Blood bosses, they learn new abilities, blood powers and building options.

The game world of Vardoran features medieval landscapes, villages, cathedrals and dangerous dungeons, which play differently during day and night. V Rising supports both solo play and PvE as well as PvP multiplayer on dedicated servers, where players can forge alliances or fight for supremacy.

V Rising is aimed at fans of survival and base-building games with a vampire setting who appreciate a combination of dark atmosphere, tactical combat and long-term progression. The game was fully released with version 1.0 in 2024 and is available on PC via Steam.
