Insurgency: Sandstorm is a tactical first-person shooter developed by New World Interactive and published by Focus Entertainment. The game focuses on realistic, demanding combat without HUD clutter — ammunition is counted in magazines, a single hit can be lethal, and teamwork and communication are essential.

In Insurgency: Sandstorm, players face off in intense infantry combat against each other or cooperatively against AI opponents. Game modes range from competitive PvP and cooperative checkpoint missions to large-scale battles with vehicles and air support.

On your own server you can freely set maps, scenarios and game modes, and integrate community mods via mod.io — from new maps and weapons to complete game modes. Admin tools, map rotations and RCON give you full control over your experience.
