What is Space Engineers? ​

Space Engineers is a sandbox game about engineering, construction, exploration and survival in space and on planets, developed by Keen Software House. Players build spaceships, space stations, planetary outposts and vehicles and use them to travel through a volumetric universe in which almost every object can be mined, built and destroyed.

At its core are realistic, block-based building and a volumetric physics engine: structures are made of individual components that can be damaged and repaired. There is a Creative mode for free building as well as a Survival mode with resource management, power, oxygen and manufacturing.

Space Engineers supports solo and multiplayer play and has a large modding community via the Steam Workshop, allowing blocks, scripts and entire game mechanics to be extended. The game is available on PC via Steam.
