How to Enable or Disable the Third-Person View on Your DayZ Server

You can enable or disable the third-person view via the dashboard.

Open dashboard
Open the dashboard of your server.
Open settings
Navigate to the Settings.
Toggle third person
Enable or disable the Disable Third Person option:
- Enabled: Players can only use first-person view
- Disabled: Players can switch between first- and third-person view
Restart the server
Save the setting and restart your server.

Tip

First-person only servers (hardcore mode) are considered more realistic and challenging, as players cannot peek around corners.
