What is Satisfactory? ​

Satisfactory is a first-person factory building and automation game developed by Coffee Stain Studios. Players take on the role of a FICSIT pioneer who lands on an alien planet to extract resources and build a massive, automated factory to complete the so-called "Project Assembly".

At the core of Satisfactory is the automation of production chains. Players build conveyor belts, pipelines, machines and power plants to process raw materials into increasingly complex products. Complexity grows steadily as new technologies are researched and ever-larger factories are planned and built.

The planet itself offers an open, handcrafted world with various biomes, cave systems and hostile creatures for players to explore. Satisfactory supports solo play as well as co-op multiplayer with friends on dedicated servers, where players can work together on massive factory complexes.

Satisfactory is aimed at fans of automation and building games who appreciate creative freedom, detailed planning and progress through optimization. The game was fully released with version 1.0 in 2024 and is available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
