What is Arma 3?

Arma 3 is a military sandbox simulation developed by Bohemia Interactive. The game focuses on realistic combat on land, at sea and in the air, and gives players a huge open world in which they can recreate infantry firefights, vehicle operations and complete military campaigns.

At the heart of Arma 3 are tactical depth and freedom. Instead of a fixed game loop, the mission decides what happens on your server: from small co-op operations to large-scale faction battles and persistent campaigns such as Antistasi or Wasteland. An extensive selection of weapons, vehicles and equipment together with realistic ballistics and a detailed wounding system make sure that no two situations play out the same way.

A large part of the game lives from modding. Using the Eden editor and the Steam Workshop, players create their own missions, terrains, factions and full-scale overhauls. Dedicated servers load these mods through start parameters and can therefore offer completely custom experiences – from realistic milsim units to relaxed sandbox servers.

Arma 3 is aimed at players who value realism, teamplay and creative freedom and who want to shape their server down to the last detail. The game is available on PC via Steam.
