CryoFall

What is CryoFall?

CryoFall is a multiplayer-focused sci-fi survival game by developer AtomicTorch Studio. You wake up from cryo sleep as the survivor of a failed colonisation mission and find yourself on an alien planet – without equipment, without infrastructure and without any hope of rescue.

The game is played in a 2D top-down view. Gathering, crafting, farming and base building are at its core: you start out with the simplest stone and wood tools and work your way up through an extensive technology tree towards electricity, machines, vehicles and modern weaponry. New technologies are unlocked with learning points that you earn by exploring, building and fighting.

The world is built around playing together. Players form factions, build settlements, trade with each other and take on bosses and world events as a group. Whether that cooperation stays peaceful or players may fight each other as well is decided by the server owner through the rates and rules of the server.

On your own server the world keeps running even when nobody is online. Owners can list their server publicly in the server list or keep it private, adjust the game rates and extend it through the official mod system.
