What is Astroneer? ​

Astroneer is a space exploration sandbox game developed by System Era Softworks. Its charming, cartoon-style visuals set it apart from more grim survival and exploration titles. Players take on the role of an "Astroneer" and explore an entire solar system full of different planets, moons and cosmic mysteries.

The game is built around a unique terrain deformation system: using the Terrain Tool, players can reshape landscapes, dig tunnels or build ramps. Resources have to be gathered, bases constructed and vehicles built to reach more distant planets. Automation, research and creative base design are core parts of the gameplay.

The world of Astroneer offers a variety of celestial bodies, each with their own biomes, weather conditions and resources. Players can explore solo or in co-op with up to four players, building bases and unravelling the mysteries of the solar system together.

Astroneer is especially popular with players looking for a relaxed, creative sandbox title with a strong focus on exploration, base building and cooperation. The game is available on PC, Xbox and PlayStation.
