Frozen Flame

What is Frozen Flame?

Frozen Flame is a survival action RPG by the studio Dreamside Interactive. The game launched in Early Access on Steam on 17 November 2022 and is still in that phase.

Exploration, survival and building are at the centre of the experience: players gather resources, craft equipment, raise their own structures and face the dangers of an open world. Combat combines classic melee and ranged weapons with magical abilities that are unlocked and developed over the course of the game.

Getting around is part of the experience in its own right: alongside climbing and gliding, the world opens up into widely separated regions in which players discover resources, secrets and powerful enemies.

Two game modes are available for servers and are selected in the server configuration: Cataclysm as the survival mode and Campaign as the campaign mode. The starting map of your server decides which mode is loaded.

Frozen Flame can be played solo, in co-op with friends or on a permanently running dedicated server. Joining always works through a direct connection using the IP address of the server. The game is available on PC via Steam.
