What is Operation Harsh Doorstop?

Operation Harsh Doorstop is a tactical multiplayer shooter by Drakeling Labs, available free of charge on Steam. The game focuses on grounded infantry combat on large, open maps and targets players who prefer team-based, tactical play over fast-paced arcade shooters.

Matches are round-based, with two factions fighting over control points. Besides pure PvP, rounds can be filled up with AI bots, so even a small server or a handful of friends can enjoy full-scale battles. After each round the server starts a new match – there is no persistent world state that carries over.

The heart of the game is its moddability: maps, factions, weapons and entire game modes come from the Steam Workshop and are created by the community. On your own server you decide which mods run, which maps rotate and which factions face each other.

On your own server you also manage admins and bans through configuration files, and control the running match via the in-game console or RCON – from switching maps to kicking individual players.
